DIVINATION SLUDGEDEATH MANIFEST is finally out! a quick and ridiculous roleplaying game I stapled together over the course of September to take a break from chipping away at the ever-bestial Wizardman Second Edition (nearly 200 pages!)

Divination Sludgedeath Manifest is a pulp cyberpunk roleplaying game about hellish TikTok dystopias. If you have used that app in the recent few months, you're possibly familiar with a certain type of content on the site focused around the idea of these alternate death Game realities; this game is the theoretical future those videos take place in. The end result is a baffling and fun dive into a world that was never meant to be explored beyond its original confines, but in seeing past them shows a picture with limitless potential for entertainment.

The system design here is some of my proudest work. The eight different Ripper Types offer a great variety of gameplay, and the synergies between them are certain to make for some great moments of clever play. Additionally, Splice and Interlink Points ensure that characters (and the Society they are in) feel dynamic, fluid, and living. Honestly, take out the over-edged theming and you have a really solid core worth further exploration - expect to see the system return down the line. Perhaps an SRD?

Enjoy the game while it lasts. There's not much time for a work like this to be relevant before it sours - and it'll be years before it becomes sour enough to age finely. Memetic content is like wine, in a way.
